You could hear it before you saw it—laughter echoing down the hallways of a Berlin hotel, the rolling of suitcases, and the unmistakable sound of someone being hugged too tightly. After seven long years, our Distributor Meeting was finally back. But calling it a "meeting" feels like underselling it. It was more like a family reunion... if your family came from 12 different countries, sold vintage-inspired treasures, and occasionally toasted with champagne between product strategy talks.
This wasn’t just business. This was something more.
The Business of Belonging
They came from across the globe—Australia, Belgium, Italy, Norway, the UK—some bringing their partners and kids who are already easing into the business. We welcomed 25 distributors from 12 countries with snacks, stories, and open arms.
Day one kicked off with company updates wrapped in the charm of Berlin itself, B2B shop demos (with more “Wait, we can do that?” moments that we expected), then flowed straight into the beer garden—because of course it did. Rain clouds teased us, but the sun made an entrance just in time. And under it, we talked about everything: sales numbers, new catalog pages, favorite travel spots, and how fast kids grow. No icebreakers needed—just bratwurst, sunshine, and seven years of stories.
Lessons, Laughter, and Legacy
Friday brought the heart of the meeting: product previews and marketing material that had everyone reaching for their phones. Our Belgian distributor shared a few stories about their experience expanding into France. No big buildup—just experience, spoken honestly. What began as a story quickly turned into a full-on workshop, with partners exchanging insights like old friends swapping family recipes.
That spirit continued into the evening as we welcomed everyone to our headquarters—a beautifully restored industrial space in North Berlin. It was part celebration, part homecoming. There were lights strung from the trees, music in the background, and stories flowing across long dinner tables. We honored employees and remembered two cherished partners who had passed away—passing not just businesses, but legacies, to their loved ones. One received a trophy. Everyone felt the weight and warmth of it.
Shared Roads, Shared Stories
Saturday was quieter. A few of us wandered the streets of Berlin together—no schedule, just the soft hum of goodbye.
After hours of soaking up the city’s history (and the sun), we were glowing with warmth and ready for a drink. Spirits were high, but the thirst was higher. When someone pulled out a tiny water bottle—(with maybe two drops inside), we couldn’t stop laughing. Luckily, we had a reservation at a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city, where we relaxed and rehydrated and toasted to a weekend well spent.
This wasn’t just about business growth – though that remains our top goal – it was about reconnecting, sharing and strengthening the trust that makes this network more than a business. It reminded us that behind every product, there’s a partnership. Behind every meeting, there’s meaning. And behind every handshake, there’s a story waiting to be told.
Here’s to telling more of them—together.
